Dobble for team building
Branded decks for onboarding and events

Most icebreakers need a facilitator and a explanation nobody remembers. This one takes thirty seconds to teach: find the symbol two cards share. Put your team's faces, your products or your logo on the cards and it stops being a generic exercise.

Why it works in a work setting

Low friction to run, and the content does the work rather than the format.

Learning names, without the exercise

A deck made of colleagues' faces teaches a new starter forty names faster than an org chart does, because they are looking hard at each face to win. Nobody has to stand up and share a fun fact.

No facilitator needed

Hand out the deck and the rules explain themselves in one sentence. It works at a table of four in a break or across twelve tables at an away day, with no script and no timing.

A giveaway people keep

A branded deck outlives a branded pen. At a trade fair it gets played at the stand, taken home, and played again with the logo still on every card.

Ways companies use it

Getting a branded deck right

Use the background remover on headshots
Cut-out faces on a white card read far better than photos with an office wall behind them. It is one click per image and it is what makes the deck look designed rather than assembled.
Do not put the logo on every symbol
Repeating your logo as a symbol makes the game unplayable — a symbol appearing on many cards breaks the single-match promise for the player's eye. Put branding on the card back or in one symbol slot, not everywhere.
Print the 31-card deck for groups
Thirty-one cards with 6 symbols is the sweet spot for adults: quick enough to finish in a break, varied enough that it does not feel repetitive by the third round.
Print several copies for a room
One deck serves one table. For a workshop of thirty, print six copies of the same PDF and run six tables at once — the file is yours to print as often as you need.

Questions from teams

Can I use our brand colours and logo?

Yes. You upload your own images, so product shots, icons and a logo mark can all become symbols, and the card border is configurable. Just keep the logo out of the symbol set itself so the matching still works.

How many people can play at once?

One deck suits two to five players. For a bigger group, print the same PDF several times: each printout is a complete, independent deck, so ten copies run ten simultaneous tables from a single design.

Is there a licence for commercial use?

You keep the rights to the images you upload and the PDF you generate, so using a deck internally or as a giveaway is fine. Do note that Dobble and Spot It are trademarks of their owners and this site is not affiliated with them, so do not present a deck as an official product.

Can we get them professionally printed?

The export is a standard print-ready PDF, so any commercial printer can handle it. For small runs a 300 gsm home print with a circle cutter is usually enough; for hundreds of decks a print shop will be cheaper and faster.
